A clear shipping label connects an order to the parcel carrying it. This Amazon shipping labels guide explains how to obtain your label, prepare the PDF, and print a readable copy. It focuses on customer-order shipping labels; product identification labels and inbound warehouse labels follow different workflows.

1. Download the correct Amazon label

Sign in to the Seller Central account for the marketplace where the order was placed. Open the order-management area and identify the order you are preparing. Check the recipient and order details before downloading any shipping document.

For Amazon India, Amazon’s guidance on Easy Ship and Self-Ship documents identifies Manage Orders as a place to print shipping labels. The actions available depend on the order’s fulfilment method and status. Follow the workflow shown in your account, including any required pickup arrangements.

Where available, Amazon Buy Shipping lets sellers purchase and print labels for merchant-fulfilled orders. Downloading or cropping a PDF in quicklabelcrop does not purchase postage, arrange collection, or confirm shipment.

2. Prepare the PDF for your printer

If the downloaded label already has the correct dimensions and prints clearly, use it directly. Cropping is useful when the label occupies only part of a larger page, or when an invoice shares the page and you need a separate label printout.

  1. Open quicklabelcrop and select Amazon under Marketplace.
  2. Choose your PDF. The current tool accepts files up to 50 MB and expects one shipping label per source page.
  3. Inspect the suggested crop. Keep the complete address, tracking information, barcode, and surrounding white space inside the box.
  4. Adjust the rectangle or enter the X, Y, W, and H percentages if the automatic crop misses content.
  5. Review every page before exporting a batch.

The tool detects visible content and certain invoice headings. It does not validate Amazon’s label requirements. Scanned pages need manual review because automatic SKU extraction and invoice separation depend on readable PDF text.

3. Choose a print format

The thermal option creates a 4 × 6 inch output page. Use it only when that size is appropriate for your shipping label and printer. Set the printer’s paper size to match the downloaded PDF.

A4 output can arrange four or six cropped labels on each sheet. Six labels use two columns and three rows. This reduces each label’s available space, so check that the resulting label dimensions and barcode remain suitable for the carrier. A layout being available in the tool does not mean it is accepted for every Amazon service.

Choose Cropped size · no scaling when you want to retain the selected region’s PDF dimensions. After downloading, open the PDF in a viewer and print at actual size or 100%. Avoid applying a second “multiple pages per sheet” setting to an A4 file that is already arranged.

4. Check the printed label

Print one sample before starting a large batch. Confirm that no address lines are cut off, barcode bars remain distinct, and the label belongs to the parcel you are packing. A 300 DPI export cannot restore detail missing from a blurry source file.

If the result is too small, choose fewer labels per sheet or an appropriate individual-label format. If it is clipped, check both the crop and the printer’s page settings. If it is faint, inspect the printer and its print-quality settings before repeating the batch.
